I am planning to buy a TPMS. What brand can you recommend? I recently bought a set of {removed per forum guidelines} Deegan 38 for my truck, however, the package didn't come with a free TPMS. Any suggestions?

 Hello dyljordan-

Thanks for registering with the Best Buy forums to ask us about some new technology you’re looking to add to your truck!  I’ve only had experience with one brand of TPMS sensors we carry, but this was only because of other add-ons I was installing on my clients vehicles when I was an Autotech.

Rand McNally Tire Pressure Monitor System was the only brand of TPMS sensor I’ve had the opportunity to install, but this is only because I was installing other Rand McNally accessories at the time also.  Best is also offering another brand, which looks just as simple to install, but I couldn’t speak on this because I do not have first-hand knowledge on the PAPAGO- GoSafe TPMS 100 Tire Pressure Monitor System.

What I do know is that the Rand McNally, although could seem daunting to get the application running because of cellular signal, I was lucky enough to always have a shop with Wi-Fi from the store to help me out.  This was the only thing I ever remember causing a hiccup, but their customer service was amazingly fast and kind when I called in to troubleshoot!

Please let me know if you have any further questions, and I’d be happy to help out as best as possible!  If you do end up selecting either one of these I’m sure there will be others in the community, and later on that would love to hear your personal review!

Keep us posted!

You can buy a kinetic energy flashlight that charges up by shaking the flashlight, Why can't the sensors be charged like that when the wheels rotate
