Speaker Terminal Connection size

I just bought Kenwood Marine Speakers Model KFC-1653MRB for my boat. The old speakers had a smaller terminal size so i need to splice in the correct size but I do not knopw what the correct size is. Please advise. Thanks!

Re: Speaker Terminal Connection size

normally speaking the box that has the speakers should also come with some pig tail connectors that should have the 2 female sides for positive and negative.  If this doesn't have it, I'm not entirely sure the exat size, but car shop place should have some for sale that are labeled speaker terminals.  Another option would be to solder directly to the positive and negative side of the speak to eliminate the connection entirely.

hope this helps!
