Bought this remote start recently with installation scheduled tomorrow.. the installation is with T-harness, but I cannot find a T-harness for my vehicle... I tried calling my Best Buy in Cerritos to clarify and see if they had it, but was interrupted and told to ask customer service if my items have arrived... The AUTOTECH guy that answered also said he isn't too familiar with Compustar but knows Viper because "we're on the West coast".
Does anyone know if there is a T-harness? If not and the system has to be hardwired, does Best Buy have a standard operating procedure to soder and shrink wrap connections? After the guys response over the phone, I am now hesitant to bring my new car, have the wiring cut into, and having issues after install....
Thanks

Good afternoon JoeMarcelinoOliva-
Thanks for taking the time to register with the Best Buy forums and let us know about your phone call with the Autotech. To be completely honest, I’m not entirely sure if that statement he made is accurate since they should have everything they need in stock, including most all T-harnesses for the vehicles that Compustar out.
All of our MECP Certified Autotechs would also offer a lifetime labor warranty on all of their workmanship, so rest easy should anything act up later on down the road. The Cerritos store should be stocked with both of our trusted vendors who are amazing at what they do. Both Directed Electronics and Compustar have simply the best in the industry, but you’re welcome to have either installed at any Best Buy with an installation bay.
I would invite you to visit the store to physically pick up the T-harness if available, we wouldn’t have these available for sale, but you’re welcome to stop by to complete the bundle if you’re nearby!
I’ll be here if you have any other questions about your remote start!
Sincerely,
