I recently purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry that doesn't have a CD player. Of course, since I bough a Camry, I am now officially a senior citizen; accordingly, I have about 30 years worth of CDs in my collection, and I'd like to be able to listen to them in my new car. I have dug around enough to learn that there are probably no Bluetooth-enabled portable CD players on the market these days.
I do have a couple of high-quality portable CD players and yes, I suppose I COULD attach them to my car's audio system with a cable to the aux jack. But I am wondering if there's some sort of Bluetooth transmitter that I could plug into the headphone jack on my CD players that would allow me to listen to discs through my car's Bluetooth, like I can listen to music from my phone and my AK Jr.
I've seen a number of devices advertised online that seem like they could probably do this, but as their functional descriptions are often sketchy I figured I'd check out the situation with some people who actually know what they're talking about. Any input? Thanks, d/

Good Evening djm5220-
Welcome to the Car, Marine, and GPS board, here on the Best Buy forums! always used to say nothing makes you feel older than other people’s children, but now I could add to my repertoire with saying, “nothing makes you feel older than trying to connect with these newer vehicles!” The post HERE, is chalked full of great responses from a few customers in the same predicament.
@Autotech, used to be my alias before I was promoted to a moderator, just so there is no confusion there. If you navigate to the second page, the post from 10/14 to “joses,” has my personal recommendations for Bluetooth adapters. A lot more of these are coming out and I’d recommend visiting your local Best Buy to find the the latest and greatest in adapters currently available!
I’d be more than willing to explore some more options for you if you have a different scenario in mind, but I believe the post I’ve referenced has all the content you’re looking for. Please let me know if you have anything else I can clarify or help out with!
