howdy, i have been wanting to take the 12'' subs out of my car and use them in my house to jam on my guitar with but have no idea how to hook all that together. i've been informed you need a pre amp? size? where to hook up? any help would be appreciated. they are insignia brand 600w bridgeable with 400w subs. would be nice if there was a kit on the market for this application and all you have to do is plug it in and crank it up. would be great for home theaters as well. also a kit for the guitar app on board the vehicle. any info.?

Hello killariff,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
Unfortunately, since what you're looking to do with your Insignia Amplifier and subwoofers is out of scope with their intended use, we don't have advice for you. However, an internet search should reveal numerous resources to help you achieve your goals. Remember though: if your system is covered by the factory warranty, using it in this manner will void your ability to receive covered repairs.

Help!
Installed a NS-P2000 in my son's car today. It is hooked up to a Kenwood radio model KDC-BT555U. We followed the wiring diagram but the light stays red on the amplifier. After checking in the manual in the troubleshooting area, it is mentioned to do a reset.
How do you do a reset on this amp?
Thanks for your help.

Hello bean,
Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!
The way to reset the adapter is to simply remove the speaker leads and the power cables from the amplifier. The red led indicates it is in self protect mode and if the reset does not fix it there is likely something wrong with the amplifier. You may need to replace the fuses on the amplifier.
