Wow I see allot of problems with people trying to upgrade there maps on there Insignia GPS units. I just got my yesterday from Best Buy.com. Downloaded the frameware from the website. When I turn on my unit it told me there was a map update and go to the Geek Squad. 

I went to the Pleasant Hill, CA store and the Geek person checked my unit my unit and then went to the back and check something on his computer, then came back to the front and told me there was no update. I then went to the Car audio area and asked someone there, they told me that Best Buy never told them how to upgrade these units.

Called the Insignia customer service and was told that there is January update that I should have gotten, since the maps on mine are stuck in 2008. 

Any suggestions that you can give to get these updates?

I have the NS-CNV10 and 20.  I have yet to get an update for either of these units.  Can you help?
