I have the NS-DV720PBL2 and for some reason I cannot get my zoom to work. I have tried a factory reset and that didnt work. When i use the wheel to zoom in and zoom out the only thing that happens is the menu pops up. How can I get the zoom to work again? its been a really long time since ive used my camera so i dont know if it needs a software update?
This is a strange issue, when you press the T or W on the wheel to zoom it brings up the menu instead? Since you have already done a factory reset and there are software updates, the only thing I can suggest is that maybe a button is stuck or being pressed at the same time you are trying to zoom. I will also recommend you try zooming in on pictures when you're viewing them as well as when you are recording to see if one or the other works.
I am really sorry, I left out "no" when I was talking about software updates, so the line should have read "there are no software updates". Again, I am really sorry about that.
