hi, a have an insginia ns-dcc5hb09 camera and it won't turn on. When i press the powerr button the red led flashes for a second and nothing happens. I tried connecting my camera to a PC but it won't even detect a new device. Please help

P.S. connected to a PC with a cabel it still flashes a red light

i tried a different battery it didn't work out. The same red light and it just won't turn on. Is it possible that the firmware is dead? or smth else?

Hello again qwerty1,
My recommendation at this point will be to seek repairs for your camcorder. Service can be obtained by carrying the unit in to the place of purchase.

I am having this exact same issue. I have not bought a new battery yet but plan to.
Say that this solution does not work if I need to send it away for support, how would I do this without a warranty or receipt? bought this device at a yard sale...
Please Help

Let us know if replacing the battery resolves the problem! If needed, you may pursue service options through Geek Squad. A receipt is not needed for non-warranty repairs.
