I'm kinda new at this computer thing,ijust bought a digital camera its a insignia 12 megapixels model n2-dsc1112 with a ubscable.can someone tell how to up load pic from my camera to my computer.is there something i have to do to my computer before i can upload my pic to it?i pluged it in both but nothing happen. I need help! I aslo would like to up load pic to internet. thanks. Bob

According to the owner's manual:

1. Connect the camera to a camera using the supplied USB cable.
   
2. Turn on the camera. The computer detects the connection. Your camera's internal memory and memory card display as removable drives in the file manager. No image is displayed on the LCD.
   

You should need to take no other action with your computer before completing the steps above. Let us know your results!

DO i need to open up my internet explorer or click on pictures? just turn the cumputer on.I think i tryed what you said yestereday.i will try again and let you know. thanks bob

I did get my pic into my computer and into a folder.I have five pics but dont know how to put them into one folder or up load to craigs list. Help! I told you i was new at this,I guess i should take some computer classes so i dont bother you all. thanks again.

Hello again Bob,

You should be able to get your photos into one folder on your computer by dragging and dropping in Windows Explorer (or the Finder if you're using a Mac). For Craigslist, I recommend visiting their website and clicking on Help or FAQ for more information on using the service.

You do not say what you are using for an OS, XP, Win7, OSX?

For Winblows XP here is what ya do...

1. Right Click on your Desktop and select New - Folder

2. Name the folder anything you want, and then Drag the pictures to it.

To upload to Craigslist, select your area.

At the Top Right select Post.

Below the Posting Description box where you enter your text, click on the "Add / Edit Images" button. Click Browse, go to the Folder you just made, and Double Click on the picture you want to upload. If done right the Red X will change into a Green Circle. Give it time to upload and your done.
