SD Card Supported Formats

I am trying to copy extra files to my SD card that I use with my digital photo frame.

The SD Card is a FAT format - and I cant copy files from my PC to the card (they are in a JPEG format) and there are already existing photos on the card.

I get an error 0x80070052 - and all documentation on the web says that I need to change the format from FAT to either FAT32 / NTFS.  I can understand that NTFS wont work, but will the photo frame read a FAT32 formatted SD Card?

I am using windows explorer to just copy jpegs from disk to the SD Card - which worked when I first put the photos on the card.

Your user manuals say to make sure that the cards are in a supported format but dont detail what that is.

Re: SD Card Supported Formats

Hi catjes,

Fat32 will be ok for you, that´s the best format for the SD cards to work properly with our picture frame. But still let me remind that changing the format will make you loose all the information inside the memory card, so if you have some pictures inside already I would recommend you to make a backup before formatting.

Regards,

Nico
