Welcome to Community@Inisgnia™!
What you need to check are a couple of things, first of all, if you play back the video on the camera, do you get sound? If you do, that means that the camera is recording sound, and you will need to know is if after copying the file to your computer and playing it you get sound as well, if you don't then you are missing a sound codec of playback, if you do, so far so good. Lastly if you do not get sound after converting the movie to DVD,then the converter program is missing a codec to convert that. Both ways you will need to download the correct codec, either from the players manufacturer or from the converter program.
If, on the other hand you don't get sound when playing it back on the camera itself, you will need to check if the sound recording is on, or to do all in one step, take the camera back to factory defaults, just by pressing the "Enter" key, then "Set", select settings and lastly scroll downs to "Factory Reset". Now you should start recording with sound.
