I just purchased this frame. I loaded an SD card with images copied from my iMac. Many of these pictures were taken with the camera rotated (i.e, "portrait" view.. ) These images always looked right-side up on the camera LCD, and on the computer, e.g, when using image editing software (and saving). In running the slide show on the ns-dfp8tr, however, these images show up rotated 90 degrees to the right. Using the rotate feature on the remote for each of these images is awkward and time consuming. How can this be corrected?
One of the reviews that persuaded me to buy it said there was an "auto-rotate" feature, but nothing in the manual mentions this.

Hello BobTheFac,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
The issue may have to do with the image having been saved. One of our product engineers addresses the auto-rotation feature here. If the original metadata has been lost, your photos will have to be re-saved in the desired orientation.

John

you said about image rotation, if you cannot change it automatically. i think you can use software to batch rotate to any angles you like.

Hello lucywill,
Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!
The only way i know of is to ensure they're oriented properly and then run them from the internal memory of the picture frame.
