I would suggest attempting to reset the unit, to do his hold a finger on the screen while pressing the power button to turn the device on. This should bring up a screen that allows you to restore factory settings. If you are not able to access this menu then it is likely that the device has a hardware issue that is in need of repair. In that case I would suggest taking the Infocast to your local Geek Squad for a technical assessment.
