I have the Insignia HD 720 Camera for a while now, never had a problem with it. Until recently I recorded some footage, unloaded it. Now when I try to record, it says my memory is full. I only have about 1 min of footage I can record on, but I have no files in my camera hd, or my SD card. How do i fix this internal problem? I used to have my full 30 mins (if i shoot in HD) or my full 1 hr footage (if i use regular standard) but now i have none??? HOW DO I FIX???

Man I think I threw away my receipt and box? All I have left is my instruction manual. I've had the camera for about 2-3 years now. Does it really make a difference?

Hello invisiblestripe,
The model number is necessary to provide accurate troubleshooting advice. You should be able to find it on the camcorder itself. In the interim, try resetting your camcorder to factory defaults and reformatting the memory card. Remember, any information on the memory card will be lost when the reformatting is done, so be sure to back up any files that may be on it first. Let us know your results.

Hello again invisiblestripe,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
To restore factory defaults, do the following: open the record menu, then select Setting, then Default Setting and select Yes. To be safe, remember to back up your photos and movies before the reset. More information can be found in your owner's manual, page 27.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Saying I have a full memory card when there is nothing on it. It's a discontinued NS-DCC5HB09. What do I do?
