Insignia™ doesn't offer extended warranties or protection plans. You should be able to purchase them through your local Insignia™ retailer as long as your product purchase meet their requirements (e.g. you must be within the product return period). I hope this helps.

Thank you for your response: that was how I it worked. I'll just have to go back to the store and purchase the protection plan.
