This is driving me crazy.. Best buy dot com has the Canon SD 3500 14.1 listed on there website for $379.99 and the sug retail value from Canon is $329.99. I want this camera and would like to use my rewards certificates. Do you think they have it listed wrong because every other store is selling for under $329.99, some at $299.99.. How do I get them to see that they have made a mistake.. I've tried calling but got no where and they are not selling this camera in the stores.

Each retailer sets their own prices. I doubt it's a mistake.

Hi dsheehan23,
Thanks for making us aware of this! In response to this message I forwarded your concern onto the appropriate people here at Best Buy® corporate headquarters to see if this camera is mis-priced, and you were correct that we did not intend to sell this camera for more than $329.99 (the suggested retail price). The price for this camera has now been lowered to $329.99.
Thanks for making us aware of this!

That's what I thought.. It was driving me crazy... I know they were losing out on sales on it... I see that it has been fixed online...

Best Buy always sells above retail value. Its horrible. They have the canon BG-E2N for $300 in store and online which is absurd. Frys, Amaz0n, Ad0rama, B&H, and other respectable retailers have it for around $130. It's sad. I always discourage people from buying from Best Buy unless they have to. Now that C1rcuit City is gone, Best Buy is basically a monopoly when it comes to electronic stores.

I should put this in my sig or something. CC wasn't competition for BB for at least their last five years. CC had absolutely nothing to do with their prices.

CC may have been in competition with BB in general, but they sure weren't competitive with ANYONE on price, one of the main reasons they don't exist any more. I remember that they carried the camera I own (Pentax K20D) for a while as an "online only" item.
Normal price $1900, sale price $1300, "you save" $600 - Except that $1300 was MSRP, and everyone else was selling it for $1100.
BB has plenty of brick-and-mortar competition from WM and TGT, and massive online competition from AZ, NE, BH, Ado, etc.
