Hey,

I saw on Canon's website that they are releasing a new Canon Powershot SD1400 IS model for 249.99 at the end of February.  I spoke with a representative who said they started shipping the stock out to retailers on February 9th.  

I'm wondering when Bestbuy might carry this in stock?  I'm leaving for a trip Wednesday, March 3rd, and would preferably like to buy it before then.

They won't tell you other than vague answers of "soon", but it depends on the current company-wide inventory of the camera it's replacing, so look for sales. If it's on sale, that means the replacement is coming very soon. Sometimes it takes several sales to deplete the overall inventory so don't hold your breath waiting for it. You can get it from a camera shop much quicker and probably for a bit less too.
