I am a big fan of the Sony Cyber-Shot ultra-slim camera line. My question is if Best Buy will be carrying the new T500 line, and if so, when? It is already available on the Sony Style website for $399.99, but I want to get it from Best Buy so I can buy the service plan in case the screen goes out.

I am not interested in the new T700 or T77 lines (too slim and 4gb of internal memory is kind of pointless as well as overkill). For the same price, I would much rather get the T500. Please help!

I wasn’t familiar with this model so I looked on Sony’s website, and I have to say I was impressed, but unfortunately at this time Best Buy® is not selling the Sony T500 digital camera. Keep in mind that we’re coming into the holiday season I wouldn’t be surprised if we start selling it very soon. I can understand the desire to protect your investment with one of Best Buy’s® service plans, since I always get a service plan on any photography equipment I purchase. I hope this information helps out!
