Hey tawright1,

I have personally never used either one, but I can point out the differences. The Dynex® webcam can be mounted on a laptop, and it has gotten better reviews from other customers that have purchased it than the Rocketfish™ webcam. The Rocketfish™ webcam does have higher video and still resolution than the Dynex® webcam, but cannot be mounted to a laptop. I hope this helps!
