I am a Twitch streamer, and know that I can use my DSLR camera as a webcam. The problem is, I would have to change the battery every hour or so. I know that at Best Buy, the cameras are always charged, and plugged in to something. I was wondering how this was done, and if it would be possible for me to do.
they have them plugged into an external power supply such as you would for a computer or tablet.
Exactly what brand and model of camera do you have
If you have a Nikon DSLR D610 for example you can buy a EH-5c adapter or EH-5b
I would recommend NOT going with a third party power supply but an actual OEM product.

I have a Canon t6i, what would you recommend for that? I just looked up the Nikon one you mentioned, and that’s perfect, just curious if it’s different for Canon t6i.
That particular model does not have a power input connection. However, you can get an AC adapter where it directly replaces the battery and should work for what you want.
Best Buy does not carry it.

Another option could be to get a Battery grip. it should significantly extend your time. However, the AC adapter may be a better option.
