Does Best Buy plan to carry the Canon HF S11?  If so, when, and if not, why?

The BB employees at this level wouldn't know the answer to either question.  It would be way overpriced at BB anyway.

Understood.  I'm just thinking the price will go down this year.  If you look at this camera at www.canon.com, then hit the link to search for locations, it brings up all my local Best Buy stores, but they say they don't carry it.  I'm just trying to get someone from BB, anyone, to answer the question.  Anyhow, thanks for the reply.

Actually, lately it seems that Canon has been enforcing price controls on vendors like Apple does.

I was surprised to see that the HF200 was the same price at BB as at (unnamed favorite photography equipment vendor) a while ago.  (Not any more - $519 vs $599 now.)

Well now I think I'll wait for the HF S21/200, so who knows if BB will carry those models.  I've got around $1200 in BB cards, so I either have to try to trade the cards or get something BB caries.  Does anyone know of a safe place to unload some gift cards?
