Ah, January. The holidays have come and gone, and we’re in the dead of winter. Some days are good for curling up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa, but you can’t stay there all winter… no matter how much you might like to. Whether a warmer climate is your vacation destination, or you want to hit the slopes, it’s great to capture the moments and scenic views. I personally prefer to take advantage of the cold weather while I can.
I know when I’ve been out snowboarding, it’s great to stop on the slope for a breath to take in the view. While I would encourage you to capture your moments from the bottom of the slope where you can safely stow your camera, it would be perfect to have a camera on hand that is great for capturing the landscape.
Though capturing the scenery is great, it’s always amazing to capture your journey down the slope as well. If you prefer to capture some shots of you shredding up the mountainside, you’ll want to check out these action camcorders. Whether you elect for a GoPro – personally, I’d love the GoPro HERO8 bundle – or DJI, you’ll be sure to be satisfied with the footage you capture. Just make sure you create that blooper reel as well!
