Battery exhauste l100

Problem solved ! Okay. Things to try . . If you look down where the batteries touch the bottom of the holes for them in the camera, take a small flat head screw driver and clean the contact by moving the flat blade acroos the contacts GENTLY. Do the same with the contacts on the battery cover but do it gently as to not bend the contacts. if anything bend them towards where the batteries touch. My problem was a single battery, not all four. I tested them all with a volt meter and they all seemed good. Then I replaced each one individually and guess what ? My camera began to work just fine. I believe it was that one booger of a battery that was failing to do its job when called for. Also in the menu there is a setting for what type battery you are using. Make sure that setting complies with the batteries you are using. Also; try a different micro sd card. I did all of this and rectified my problem. Good luck.

Re: Battery exhauste l100

Hey exstaticguy,

Nice suggestions! Yep, dirty battery contacts can sometimes cause a camera to not power on. Also when storing a camera for a while it is always a good idea to remove the battery(s) from the camera as with non-use a battery can corrode the camera's contacts.
