It is that time of year! The weather is cooling. Families and friends gather together in celebration. It’s the beginning of a series of holidays that everyone from children to adults look forward to. This holiday season kicks off in the Mexican culture with a celebration of the lives that now deceased ancestors and loved ones lived while in this world. Beginning on October 31st, All Hallows Eve, children make altars to invite the angelitos back to visit. November 1st, known as All Saints Day, deceased adults are invited to visit. Then we have November 2nd , All Souls Day, where celebrations commence and families gather to honor the lives of the deceased.
