Raise your hand if you’re not a fan of breakfast foods.

Okay, so maybe that’s not very common, but it’s true—for me, at least. I don’t remember the last time I woke up in the morning and thought,I’d like to eat an egg white omelet.Instead, I usually opt for a big cup of iced coffee and just power through until lunchtime. After all, doesn’t pizza sound far better than a salted egg?
That’s what I thought for a very long time until I started experimenting with breakfast foods a few weeks ago.
The other day my daughter asked me why Mother’s Day seemed more important than Father’s Day. We often underestimate how much children notice and how profound their thoughts are, and her question really made me stop and think why it would seem that way. We know both parents are very important in our lives but why did Mother’s Day seem to stand out more?
