Friends this is not a fire drill! I repeat not a drill! Game of Thrones starts up again this Sunday, and I want to make sure you’re able to stay up to date. (A.K.A. I don’t want your friends to spoil it for you.)
To be honest, you have three options to watch it in a timely manner prior to everyone blabbing on social media about what happened.
A.)Upgrade your services with your Cable Provider to include HBO.
B.)Subscribe to HBO Now, and watch it on a streaming device.
C.)Convince a friend that has A or B to let you come over for a viewing party.
If you’re starting from scratch on option B here’s some links to get you started in the correct direction:

GOT airs new episodes only for 1/5th of the year, and if you love period piece dramas like me there’s other great ones to watch too on the other 4/5ths of the year. These are my top 3 favorite period pieces dramas to binge watch!
Peaky Blinders airs on BBC Two, but I catch up using Netflix. It’s about a family of gypsy gangsters who struggle to balance family and scams while evading the law in the aftermath of WW1 in Birmingham England. Seasons 1-3 are available plus the cast is just finishing filming season 4!
Vikings airs on the History Channel, and I tune in using Hulu. This Norse Legend based series follows the life of Ragnar Lothbrok who wants more for his family, and is willing to challenge the status quo to get it. Seasons 1-4 are available for streaming.
Astronaut Wives Club aired on ABC back in 2015, and follows the story of the 7 Mercury astronaut wives. The series chronicles the lives of women who became American royalty while keeping their husband’s grounded during the race to the moon. You’re able to catch this mini-series on ABC’s free app under their throwback tab.
What’s your favorite period piece drama you love to binge on after GOT is done for the year? Let me know in the comments!
