there's a delay with your mobile activation

I see similar posts on this board but my case is slightly diffferent I believe.

On March 23rd I ordered Samsung S21 (ATT) on I selected 1 day delivery as a shipping option.

Nest day, on March 24, I received an email stated that there is an issue with my order and I have to call customer's support. I called and the issue was related to pre-authorisation with ATT (whatever it means) . After I provided needed information I was put on hold and then was told that the issue was resolved and I will receive another confirmation email with trracking number.

I indeed received another email but this one was even scarier than the first one:


Your item(s) are not available for delivery. Please click the View Order Status button to update your order.

If we don't hear from you by Monday, March 29, 2021, your order will be cancelled and your payment method will not be charged."

I went to my order and changed delivery option to Pickup, which supposed to be ready in 1 hour (as page stated).

In short time I receieved another email saying this :

"there is a delay with your mobile activation
We're working to solve the issue as quickly as possible and will call you if we need additional information.
After the issue is resolved, we'll send a separate e-mail when your item(s) are ready for pickup. "


Looks like the infinite loop completes - I'm back to page 0.


This time email does not list a phone number I can call and resolve the problem.

What is going on? I just need the phone ASAP and I will activate it myself as I always do.

Thanks for reaching out! A new phone is an exciting purchase, and I'm sorry to hear that there have been some delays here. That is definitely never fun! We certainly don't want picking up your device to feel like an endless loop.
