  I know buying an open-box may not have all the accessories. I was expecting it might not have the remote, manuals or audio cables, which it was missing. Those are things that are nice to have but not necessary for it to work.  But no AC adapter? That is a kind of critical part for a soundbar, especially since the ac adapter needed is a specialty part(you do not carry it).  I would think that would move a product from satisfactory to fair considering a person will have to spend money to make it work. I know you take a chance buying an open box online and the person at the store basically said the same thing. I am a bit miffed that I had to spend $19 for the ac adapter and have to wait for it to come in to see if the soundbar actually works.
