canceled order

Hi,

 

I ordered an ipad air 10.5" on 26th March 2019. I paid with overseas credit card, the payment went through. 

After 6 minutes, I received an email saying that my order was canceled. It says "Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your information, so we canceled item(s) from your order. " 

The order number : ORDER # {removed per forum guidelines}

 

May I know what the problem is? and what kind of information that could not be verified?

Welcome to our community.  I don’t know about you, but I prefer to do most of my shopping online and on my own time.  Aside from buying groceries and clothing, I find it’s much easier to compare products and search reviews on the internet than it is in a store.  I was unhappy to hear your order was cancelled and would be happy to take a peek for you.

 

Upon reviewing the order number that you included in your post, I note that the name of the purchaser is not your own.  Our Privacy Policy governs how we must protect our customers’ information and under what circumstances it may be shared.  Because you are not the purchaser listed on this order, I am unable to share any details about it with you.  I’d like to request that the original purchaser contact us for further assistance either here on our forums or at 1-888-BEST-BUY (237-8289).
