You all are double charging me which is causing my order to cancel.

I bought an $1,100 computer from your company online on June 23 and the money was pulled out my account and reserved. Now I get a message tonight mignight (6/30/2020) my time saying my order will be cancelled unless I update my payment information to repay you the $1,100. My order # is {removed per forum guidelines}. My amount due is zero. I have screen shots of my bank account transaction and that your company has already reseved/removed money in my bank account for my order which is paid in full. Clear this up please.

I would also like to add that I have already recieved half of my order since the computer was delayed until July 13, 2020.

Unfortunately you only had an authorization and Best Buy did not collect payment on that, we don't actually charge until the item ships and if they are unable to charge the item will end up canceling.  You may want to check with your bank on how long they hold authorization funds for, some release after 3 days and some wait even longer.  Again, if Best Buy is unable to perform the final charge the item will not be shipped.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our community forums. I know whenever I make a purchase I want to know exactly what is going on with my payment.

 

As jdogg836 mentioned, when an order is placed on our website an authorization hold is placed to ensure that funds are available. Based on your message, it sounds like your bank may not have allowed this hold to be processed.
