Wrong Delivered Package - Refund or Replace

Hello Sir/Madam,

This is in reference to the order that i placed from BestBuy in Jan 2021.Below are the details for the same - 

 

Order # {removed per forum guidelines}
Order Date - 01/05/2021
Shipping Address - {removed per forum guidelines}
Billing Adress :{removed per forum guidelines}
Tracking # {removed per forum guidelines}
04/28 - Case # - {removed per forum guidelines}- Kate  

 

I got an email confirmation from LSO(Carrier) saying the package has been lost and been delivered to wrong address. Here is the email content -- 

 

Hi Arvind,

 

As we spoke we confirm that the package was misdelivered to the wrong address. A ticket was created to investigate the package the ticket number is {removed per forum guidelines}. We have investigate that the package was not delivered correctly and due to the time we were unable to update the POD but we are able to notate on the system. Best buy would need to submit a claim to us so that we can reimburse them for the value of the package and they will be the ones that be able to refund your money or send out another package.

It clearly says the package has been lost and that BestBuy needs to send paper work to LSO team. For last several months have been trying to reach to BestBuy and LSO team(includling the local law enforcement department) to find some resolution but there hasn't been any progress. Everytime i give a call to BestBuy they are giving me hard time on this matter, not sure what needs to be done and how to resolve this issue.
I made several attempts for the last 4 months to find some solution to the issue but looks like no one from BestBuy is taking things seriously on this matter.
Can someone please look into the matter and send paper work to LSO and get this resolved.

Welcome to our forums, and thank you for sharing your experience with us.  Using the information you’ve provided here, I was able to review your previous contacts with our other support teams, and while I wish I could provide a different answer that what it appears you’ve been given, it appears the information you’ve been provided is correct.  We’ll be unable to offer you a refund or reshipment of this order at this time, and going forward, I recommend continuing to work with the carrier or your local law enforcement agency to investigate the delivery of this package further.

Sean,

I did work with carrier(who is LSO) and it's them who has confirmed that the package has been wrongly delivered to different address. And they have clearly mentioned it's BestBuy which needs to need to submit a claim to LSO(the carrier) so that LSO can reimburse them for the value of the package and BestBuy will be able to refund my money or send out another package.

I even worked with local law enforcement officer too, who could not do anything since it was wronngly deliverd to different address.Here is the officer details -
Officer Name : Ortega
Officer Number : {removed per forum guidelines}
Report Number - {removed per forum guidelines}
Unit # {removed per forum guidelines}

All the actions which BestBuy or LSO has asked me has beeb taken with due diligent manner. And it's LSO which has been stating the item was not delivered correctly, what else needed to be followed here other than ask the company from where i placed the order.

Hi, Arvind,

 

If the carrier has indeed confirmed they delivered the order to the incorrect address, they should have an internal process in place to relay this information to us.  As mentioned, I recommend continuing to work with the carrier to address this matter further.  Our answer will remain unchanged.

Sean,

It's BestBuy who asked me to contact LSO and when i contacted them they have informed me that package was wrongly delivered. Those are the message and emails which LSO has sent to me when i requested what happened to my package.
Also LSO person was on conference call with BestBuy person on 04/28 - Kate(BestBuy). BestBuy representative gave me this case/reference # {removed per forum guidelines}, in which she has mentioned she took all the necessary information from LSO person.
I have all the emails from LSO cearly stating BestBuy has to file a claim for the package that was lost/mis delivered to wrong address and so LSO will reimburse for the value of the package and BestBuy will be the ones that be able to refund my money or send out another package.

I brought the package from BestsBuy and LSO is clearly stating they have lost the package in the emails and also in the conference calls with BestBuy and LSO is also saying to file for a claim which will be processed by LSO. What internal process in LSO are you referring about, so that i can ask LSO to send that documents to you.

Also when i spoke to BestBuy representative they have clearly said BestBuy will file claim but now they are totally turning is back to LSO which repetedly saying BestBuy to file claim.Why is this attitude is being followed? Is there anything that i'm missing in the overall process.

I had a 3 way conference call with BestBuy and LSO yesterday. LSO has again confirmed that the package was indeed lost and BestBuy needs to file for a claim from LSO.

It clearly says the package was wrongly delivered and that BestBuy has to file claim. I reached to BestBuy for last 4 months on this package and called several times. I did followed all the rules as per what BestBuy has asked me. I filed police complinant, reached to carrier to confirm the package was lost now i believe its BestBuy who needs to take action on this matter.

Please get this issue resolved.
