Re: Worstcomputer ever

Can you post a link to the model you purchased or let us know what you purchased. That is strange that there is not enough space for 1 game to fit on a hard drive. Gaming computers have at least 512 GB to 1TB SSD drives standard. Some entry level gaming machines have 256gb.

If you can't install a game to the machine then something is wrong or your bought the wrong machine.

Re: Worstcomputer ever

It has a 64gb SSD, which is just enough for the operating system itself along with a little room for updates to Windows.  That model does have a 2.5 inch SATA bay intended for the storage of most files, games, and programs and it allows for the purchaser to choose the size or type of storage. These can range from dirt cheap to extremely pricey based on what you get.  As for the machine, I mean technically any computer is a "gaming computer" but I agree that MSI is a little off on marketing this one in that fashion.  It IS moderately capable once you get over the storage hurdle.  As for calling it the "best" gaming computer, I don't see how.  People literally spend thousands on their gaming rigs.  "Best Value" maybe, but it still leaves a lot up to the purchaser to make it whole.

March 3rd is going to be far outside of the standard, elite, and elite plus memberships.  An exception to the policy like this would best be discussed with your local store management as it is up to them to grant such an exception.  The moderators here work out of corporate and they generally follow the Return Policy as printed on the receipt, posted in store, and posted online.

Hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Re: Worstcomputer ever

Looking at the pictures, it probably has to be disassembled to upgrade ram and add a larger drive. If it's for games your probably better off selling it and getting a gaming tower and monitor. Expect to spend $1000 plus thou.

Re: Worstcomputer ever

This computer has MSI's rapid upgrade system.

There is a door on the bottom that can have and upgraded HDD inserted

It looks like the computer comes with a 64 GB SSD.  Which as mentioned is large enough to hold the operating system.

You can get a

2.5'' SATAIII / 7200rpm with MSI HDD Rapid Upgrade Design

That can be inserted into the available slot.
