yooooo I feel you! at one point in my life this was my routine as well, then I stopped because I "wasted" so much money, but then I started again recently, and YOINK, the ad is gone!

I must agree with every other upset buyers. This has been a family ritual to look at the Sunday ad, and then we would all go down to Best Buy to grab up all the products we wanted in the ad. I would spend half my purchases on items I didn’t know I even wanted, but noticed them in the ad. “Deals” are not enough coverage for what we look at or want to buy. I love browsing through the weekly ad. Something my family has no longer been able to do. I am an Elite Plus Member, and have been for many years. I traditionally spend well over your Elite Plus benchmark. However, you are quickly loosing me as a loyal buyer. If you don’t want to spend money on the print ad, fine. But it is a terrible mistake to cut out the digital ad for buyers to browse.

The successful effort to bring Best Buy to a profitable position and keep its name reputable is now negated by the effort to turn it into a Rent-A-Center. How desperate can corporate be? To turn a decent company into something I repudiate as much as a cash loan center. But let's not stop there, let's get rid of weekly sale ads so they can label everyday prices as 'sales' and only the informed will know better. Perhaps they figure since they price match, other vendors' adds will do the advertising for them....lol. In the past, I chose to buy products from Best Buy not because they had the cheapest prices, but because they were part of my community and a business that had my respect and support. I can get most products from Amazon in 2 hours or less but chose to drive 35 minutes to support Best Buy. I'm sad to say that this maybe a point of no return for me if this is their new norm. If so, good bye Best Buy. It was good knowing your old self.

That's the kicker they now no longer price match anyone but amazon.. oh and crutchfield(the most overpriced stereo company on the planet).

Thanks for the update. I wasn't aware their price match policy had changed. The last price match request for me was around December on a Oled LG TV. It will be interesting to watch their profit and  stock price value change in the next 6-12 months.

In the interest of correcting some incorrect information (for other users who might read this post), Best Buy continues to price match more than just Amazon.

We'll match the product prices of key online and local competitors for immediately available products.  

At the time of sale, we price match all local retail competitors (including their online prices) and we price match products shipped from and sold by these major online retailers: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com and TigerDirect.com.

This means that there are potentially a large number of stores that we will price match, if they are local to our stores.

unfortunately over the past few months you have stopped pricematching NewEgg, B&H, HHGregg, Rakuten, Frys, OfficeDepot, OfficeMax, Sears, Staples, Target and walmart, unless they are local.

I was told by Best Buy on Twitter that if it's sold and shipped by Newegg they still will. I complained on Twitter about how the local store didn't price match so oh well I'll just get it somewhere else and Best Buy's Twitter account told me they still do and asked me what store, what day, etc. so they could contact them and remind them of the policy.

Bill-BBY, that is actually incorrect what you posted that you price match other retailers. I walked into my local Best Buy store and they would not price match Target.com. They told me they only price match retailers that are listed in bestbuy.com's price matching policy and if the store isn't listed, they do not price match. I was so tired about it that it was a waste of time trying to debate the issue.

Best Buy simply will not price match other retailers or retailer websites unless it's posted in Best Buy.com's price match policy on their website. Either Best Buy employees are being told not to price match or they aren't being trained properly.

This is exactly why I detest walking into a Best Buy store anymore. The experience is always a horrible experience.
