Visa Checkout Promotion Removed From Order

Hi all,

I used a Visa Checkout promotion way back in early 2017 to preorder a couple of games. The promo was $25 off any $100+ order. So I preorder two games (Days Gone and Death Stranding) plus a $10 gift card. With my GCU account at the time, this all came out to $81 AFTER the promotion. (48+48+10= 106 - 25 promo = 81)

Since then, I got a new Visa card from my bank. BestBuy.com emailed me earlier asking that I update my payment method. I did so, and when I did BestBuy.com completely removed the Visa Checkout promotion AND my GCU discount (it has expired since the preorder).

So, for two preorders and a $10 gift card, BestBuy.com now wants the standard price of $130 instead of the $81 I was originally going to be charged. That's a $49 difference!!

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm not going to pay full price for either game, especially since my GCU discount was taken from me due to this error.

Thanks

Re: Visa Checkout Promotion Removed From Order

Good morning, ryan_y,

Welcome back to the forum and thank you for connecting with us regarding your pre-order for Days Gone and Death Stranding! I'm sure you're eager to receive these games and were quite disappointed when you updated your payment method after your card expired, and lost quite a few discounts in the process.

Generally speaking, should your payment information update and the offers that were applied not still be available, they would not be considered. I understand this isn't the news you were hoping for. I would be delighted to review your order with you though to make sure things updated appropriately. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for my private message.

Sincerely,
