Verification email for Bestbuy.com

Hello,

 

I am trying to make a purchase for my organization on BestBuy.com, but it asks for me to enter a verifcation code. I do not receive this code no matter how many times I resend it. I have check my spam folder and added the bestbuy email to my contacts, but I still have not received anything.

Welcome to our forums!  Ideally, the login process for BestBuy.com is a simple and straightforward process, so it’s disappointing to hear you’ve been having trouble getting your account verified, so you can start shopping with us.

 

Assuming you’ve added BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com to your email contact list, and ensured the information on your account is completely up to date and accurate, the first step I’d recommend is resetting your BestBuy.com password.  You’ll find more information on how to reset your password here, and you may also find our Having trouble logging into your My Best Buy/BestBuy.com account? Knowledge Base article useful as well.

 

If this still does not resolve the issue, I’ll be happy to take a closer look and offer any additional assistance I can, however, I’ll need a few pieces of additional information from you.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your mailing address

I have no problem logging into my account.

 

I cannot make purchases because I am not receiving verification emails.

If you’re still not receiving the verification code you’re looking for, our Having trouble logging into your My Best Buy/BestBuy.com account? Knowledge Base article I’ve linked to previously has a few troubleshooting steps you may find useful.  In case you missed it, I’ll provide the verbiage I’m referring to from that article below:

 

Why haven’t I received my verification email?

 

Below are some standard troubleshooting steps to try to receive your verification email:

 

  • Check Spam, Junk, Promotional, or Advertising folders you may have, as emails may be filtered.
  • Allow at least 15 minutes for the verification emali to arrive.
  • Emails can sometimes be blocked. Try adding BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com to your safe sender list or address book.
  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
  • Attempt to have the verification code sent from another browser or device
  • Ensure you are on a private, non-VPN network, and that any ad-blockers are turned off
  • Double check that you are using the English version of whichever browser you are using
  • Disable ad blockers.

 

Other causes of members having trouble receiving the verification email may include duplicate information in our internal systems, or outdated/mismatched information.
