Using a Bestbuy Card to Pay for Activation instead of adding to Bill

I'd like to take advantage of a cell phone deal today, and want to immediately activate through Verizon, but I would not like to add the monthly payment to my bill. So, for instance lets say I wanted to get the Pixel 3 located here:

Unlocked it's $249.99, but through activation with Verizon it's $8.33 a month for 24 months (totalling $199.92). Am I able to just have them put the $199.92 onto my bestbuy card at 0% APR for 24 months?

I am not specificlaly interested in the PIxel 3, just an example, would this be possible for any/alll ohone activation deals through Verizon?

Hi, JKJeef,

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks for the great question.

Activation fees are something that Verizon charges directly to your bill. Because of that, we aren't able to charge it on our end.

You may be able to put down a deposit to pay off the phone itself, however. If that's possible with your specific phone and plan, it will give you the option at checkout. if we can't do it online, it may be worth checking in person at your local Best Buy store to see if they can allow a deposit there.
