Hello, my account had an unauthorized in-store purchase 3 days ago in a state that I don't even live in, I tried calling 888-BESTBUY and they told me to check my bank, call local law enforcement, and call the store. But the Best Buy store is not receiving calls so I sent an email, but they haven't done anything either.
Are there any other steps I can take to fix this problem?
I have a PDF of the receipt on my Best Buy account, and it has my name and member ID on it. It's a pretty clear case of fraud, and identity theft is getting worse every day. I don't want to be responsible for a purchase I did not make; my name would be involved in any returns or warranties made on that purchase.
Please let me know, thanks!

Good morning, thirap527,
Welcome to our community forums. Having had my credit card information stolen in the past, I know how stressful it can be to see a charge that you didn't make appear. I would be more than happy to provide you some advice on how to get assistance moving forward.
As the agent and nckhammond mentioned, contacting your bank and local law enforcement are great first steps. Best Buy will provide as much assistance as possible with their investigation.
Since your My Best Buy account was used, I would also recommend changing the password for both this account and the email address associated with this account. This should help prevent any further purchases from being made.
I'd also like to make sure this this order information has been sent to our fraud team for review. I will need to gather a bit more information in order to do so. Can you please send me a private message that includes your:
Order number (if available)
