Unable to complete payment via Paypal

HI All


I got so excited on seeing the $25 off 250 offer for BestBuy in my Paypal account today. Little did I know it would be short lived...


I went ahead and added a couple of combinations of GCs in my cart - Netflix digital + Doordash Digital and Netflix digital + Doordash Digital + Amazon Physical pickup but the transaction keeps getting rejected upfront and the error message keeps asking me to change payment option.


I also called the Customer Care who:

a. Tried to convince me that there is no Paypal payment option

b. Once I told him I could see the option and read him the error message, told me that it was down all day today

c. Pushed me multiple times to switch to credit card so that HE could complete the transaction instantly

d. Told me he was transferring me to the "Finance Department" to get the issue resolved, since I said I wanted to only use Paypal and wanted to talk to a Supervisor. Needless to say, the call was mysteriously disconnnected after few seconds.


Hopefully someone here can help figure out whats wrong and how to fix it.
