Today I managed to get into my card, a high demand item (3060ti).
My browser (chrome, android) prompted me to let the website have my location permission (I figured what's the harm?), And when I pressed the yellow checkout button, it kept giving me an error message stating "this item is not available at your store, please select another location." BUT I WANTED TO ORDER ONLIKE BY POST!!
It ses by letting the website have my location, it automatically selected my nearest BB store, but it gave me no link to opt out. I tried the PayPal checkout button, with the same result.
After frantically trying to check out for 10 minutes, it started notifying me that "this item is no longer in stock.".
Talk about frustratinf- I have been trying to buy this item since November, and it's the first time I've gotten this far. To make matters even more confusing, the item listing page even says "this item is not available for in store pickup".... So why would it automatically prevent me from having a mail order option? I assumed by going through best buy.com, all purchases would be by mail, by default, not the other way around.
If this wasn't a prank by the web developer, how so I opt out of in store pickup if I only want to makeail order purchase on my phone? Please help, this was very frustrating.
