Unable to cancel order

So yeah I want to cancel an order and can't. I'm just going to wind up having to return it which means taking it into a store. Of course your policy is once it is being readied for shipment you can't cancel. I'm sure that my item which will arrive on December 14 is being prepared for shipment as we speak. Just save us all the headache and let me cancel? If I could have canceled the entire order at once none of this would be happening. I was able to cancel one of the items in the order and then 15 seconds later unable to cancel the rest. Within about 60 seconds of payment being authorized I'm locked out of canceling. 

 

Can provide order number upon request. Whole experience has left me frustrated beyond belief. I am in a high risk category for covid and would really appreciate not having to take something I don't want into one of your stores in mid December because of quite frankly draconian cancellation policies

Per the return policy here:

 

You will get free shipping on your return by using our pre-paid label. Log in to your Best Buy account to locate your order. Print a prepaid shipping label. Put the return label on the package and take it to an authorized UPS drop off location and ship it to us during your return period.

 

I would imagine that UPS can do a pickup at your location too and then the return would be complete.

Depending on a product's shipping status, cancelling an order may only be possible within the first 30 minutes after it's placed. I understand your frustrations in this situation, and I'd like the chance to assist.

 

Our extended holiday return policy is in effect, meaning purchases made October 13, 2020 through January 2, 2021 have an extended return period through January 16, 2021 (excluding certain items).
