Unable to add credit card!!!!!!!

I tried to add a mastercard and a discover card to my account as payment options. When I clicked to add the cards, nothing happened. I was unable to add them. What could be the problem and a fix?

Having a preferred method of payment saved to your My Best Buy account is definitely a convenient feature to have, so I can understand your disappointment in having trouble saving your credit card to your account! I'd be glad to step in and further assist with this.


First, I would like to ask that you check a few things (as listed below), as these can cause some trouble signing into a My Best Buy account, as well as can cause our website to not function as it should, which could explain the trouble you are having here. 

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
  • Ensure you are on a private, non-VPN network, and that any ad-blockers are turned off
  • Double check that you are using the English version of whichever browser you are using
  • Disable ad blockers.
