Unable to access account

I haven't been able to access my account for like 6 months. I have the email address and password. Everytime I try to sign in, it asks for a verification code which it sends via email. The problem is I never EVER receive the code. I've already checked spam/junk and whitelisted email address. I spoke with a few agents who states that someone created a separate account with my email address (How is that possible?) with a different name and mybestbuy rewards number. Supposedly this is why I don't get the verification emails (doesn't make sense to me but okay). The last agent submitted a request to corporate to have the other account removed. Allegedly I was supposed to be contacted by corporate regarding, but have not. It's been awhile. No contact, and still can't sign in. Anybody have any suggestions?
