I placed an order a week ago and selected the UPS store since it would not allow me to choose the local Best Buy. After a few shipping delays, I got a message that the UPS store DENIED the shipment, and it was being sent back to Best Buy for a refund. I contacted UPS support and they said that they denied it because I did not have a drop box with them. I also contacted Best Buy support and they said it was too late to do anything.
The website clearly says:
You've got more pickup options
Looking for a secure and convenient place to pick up your order? In addition to the Best Buy stores in your area, you can now choose to pick up your order at any one of our convenient alternate pickup locations, including UPS © stores, CVS © pharmacies, and other local businesses.
The Learn More link brings me to a page that makes no mention of needing a drop box with UPS in order to select it, neither does any step of the checkout process.
Why is the UPS store even an option if I can't actually get orders sent there?
