UNABLE TO VERIFY INFORMATION, ORDER CANCELLED

Hey there

This is Gaurav from Dubai. I placed this order {removed per forum guidelines} recently for my cousin residnig in US. However few hours after placing it over website according to Bestbuy International orders' terms a mail came stating my order has been cancelled as it was unable to verify info ( I'm not sure what). I intimated my bank as well prior making this purchase that I'm gonna place an order in US of this amount so I'm pretty sure there's no problem on my bank end.

Hello and welcome, gauravnalavade,

 

It was awfully nice of you to place an order for your cousin here in the US, but I can imagine you may have felt a bit confused when the purchase was cancelled.  You did the right thing by verifying your information was up to date with your bank, and I’ll be happy to advise you on this moving forward.

 

Have you tried to place your order over the phone with our sales team?  If not, you can do so by calling 1-888-237-8289.  In the event you continue to experience cancellations or further issues, please let me know and I’ll be glad to look into this further for you.

I'm sorry but I'm having accent issues to understand them clearly. Why can't I place it over website again?

Hi gauravnalavade,

 

On occasion, we are not able to properly verify all information on a customer's order, so we may need to manually verify a few pieces of information over the phone.  In those instances, we'd ask for you to call us at 1-888-BEST-BUY (888-237-8289) to place your order so our sales teams can walk you through the process.  This often helps with customers whose orders have been cancelled or those who are ordering from overseas.  That said, I'm happy to look into this further if your orders placed over the phone experience any issues as well.
