Truly horrible customer service experience, and it's not even resolved!

I tried to purchase an iPad on the Best Buy store website on January 12th, when they were $80 off. Roadie attempted to deliver it the next day, but despite the fact that my building has a place for deliveries and there was no signature required, they drove off and returned the iPad.

 

I have since spent 5+ hours on the phone trying to re-order the iPad. But since I paid partially with a gift card, I have to wait on a new one to be issued first.

 

The phone customer support team have all given me conflicting information over the three separate calls I've been made. I have alternately been told 3-5 business days for the card (which has passed), 5-10, and 7-15. In addition, two of the customer support reps told me I would still be able to get the $80 if I re-ordered the iPad with them. But today I was told that they never wrote that down and so they could not offer me $80 off once the gift card arrived.

 

I'm apoplectic. I had a pre-order for a game that I'll now be canceling and I see absolutely no reason to use Best Buy in the future. This has been a colossal waste of my time, and I'm still being lied to on the phone. I just want the iPad I paid for at the price I paid for, or my money back. That's all.
