Tracking number with no status in 6 days

I placed an order on 11/4 and received a shipment notice with tracking number on 11/6, but now it's six days later and the package still hasn't been picked up or updated on the shippers website.  With Best Buy being such a big company, shouldn't packages be picked up for shipment quite often?  How do I find out what the delay is?

Receiving a tracking number for the package, but not being supplied with the when the order will actually ship, is understandably frustrating. We’re happy further discuss this with you by means of the private message that you’ve also sent us.

So, just so this is seen in the forum, my answer from my PM was that even though my status is showing as shipped and has a tracking number, Best Buy currently does not have stock of the item and is awaiting more from the manufacturer.  

 

This just may be my own opinion, but if you don't have stock of an item don't post it as being shipped!  This is pretty deceptive in my opinion.  Even if the company says "expected delivery date" on the checkout page it doesn't reflect that anywhere after checkout.  The confirmation email doesn't show it, the status page on the website doesn't show it, and it definitely doesn't show it on the email stating that the item was shipped along with the tracking number of the item.

 

This is unsatisfactory.  But I guess it's a good way to keep customer service employees busy and working.  I really hope that Best Buy gets better with being honest and truthful with their customers.
