Store credit/Gift card refund issues

Does anybody know how I could contact someone in a high position for support. I don't usually complain about issues with companies but I recently had an order that was canceled and over $300 in credit has yet to be returned. They said 24 hours, 2 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, and now that they "don't know." Ive called regular support over 9 times and they all give useless and different responses, I even went to the store just for the supervisor to say call support and that they cant do anything. Sorry for the long thread just want answers!

Welcome to our forums!  Just so you’re aware, our Support Forums are moderated out of our Corporate Headquarters here in Minnesota, so while I wish your visit were under more fortunate circumstances, you’ve certainly come to the right place for help!

 

In regards to your order, once cancelled, you should see the funds return to your Best Buy gift card or store credit within 30 minutes, as outlined in our Cancel Your Order Help Center article, so it’s disappointing to hear this process is taking a bit longer than we’d typically expect. 

 

If you’re still not seeing your funds on these cards, feel free to send me a private message with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number

 

As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our Support Forums, so be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me this information.  If you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this button is visible to you.
