This is basically just a complaint as there is no further action to take on my order. I placed an order online for pickup at my local Best Buy. However, they obviously did not have the item in stock (despite the inventory showing otherwise). Instead of cancelling the order or asking how to proceed, the pickup location for the order was instead changed to a different Best Buy store. This was done without notifying me about the change or to ask for approval to make the change. This is NOT OKAY. You can't make this kind of change without getting input from the customer first. I ended up going out of my way to the other store to pick up the item anyways as I wanted to have it today, but that still does not change the fact that this should not have happened the way that it did. And to make things even more ludicrous is the fact that if I go to the item page it still shows that the item is in stock at my local store location. So you all not only suck at order management but also suck at inventory management as well.
