With the tracking information on the Best Buy site it may have a delay in reporting what is actually happening with your package. Unfortunately, tis the season for package theives as many people opt to shop from home than go into a store in this pandemic (Although Best Buy does adhere to CDC guidelines to keep its customers safe)
If it's a case of UPS of applying a delivered notation to your package pre-maturely then yes, you can wait a couple of days but generally a claim filed is more in your best interest than waiting.
You can call 1-888-BEST-BUY to explore options but if they can't replace it you will have to file a claim. Some items can be replaced but also if its a high dollar amount a claim would need to be filed.
Do you have any security cameras on your home, etc?
