Someone else picked up my Pixel 4 XL.. Fraud!

I placed an order (Pixel 4 XL) at the Hoover, AL store on the 9th of December. Since they didn't have the particular color in stock, i was supposed to pick it up from the store on the 15th of November. I placed another order on bestbuy.com for a wireless speaker and i decided to pick it up when i got the phone at the store. I showed up at the store on the 16th and they tell me that the order was picked up already and i had only the speaker to pick up. They checked the footage and some random guy had picked up my phone and the store manager claims they checked the ID. They say that it's a case of Fraud and the person knew i had placed an order for the phone through email. If that's the case, why not pickup the $200 speaker as well? So frustrated with this incident and Best buy. Worried that i have to end up paying $1000 to a phone i never picked up from the store. THE ONLY REASON I WANTED TO PICK IT UP FROM THE STORE IS I DIDN'T WANT ANY ISSUES WITH IT BEING DELIVERED TO A WRONG PERSON!!!!

Correction : Placed thw order on the 9th of November.

I am having the same issue now except i placed the order in store. The manager was of no help. Asked me to file a complaint with the police which i did. The manager told me to call corporate and when i called corporate they insisted that i take it up with the store and they cannot help me with it. So, i am stuck in between now. Ended up ordering another phone to be picked up in 6 days. What are the chances of best buy screwing me over this and not issue a refund?

Purchasing for an in-store pick-up is one of my favorite ways to shop, and therefore, I can understand why it would have been a surprise to learn that your Pixel 4 XL was picked up from somewhere else.
